Fall, snow!

It might melt by the time the sun comes up to try to take a picture, but a bit of the white stuff fell from the sky over the course of the night.  Barely a dusting, but still snow.

Hope the corn isn’t fazed by it.

It’s 32° F right now, due to dip just a bit below freezing before warming up as the sun rises.

Very glad we emptied and stored the last rain barrel last eve.  Kept as much as we could with vinegar jugs we’d been saving so we can use the water for houseplants over the winter and possibly seedlings come late winter/early spring.  Next year we’ll be able to save more as we’ll have more jugs saved.
