Tater Flower

It looks rather fierce in this photo, which I find hilarious.
Having never grown potatoes ever…every little thing is exciting.

We have peas planted within our potato beds, and when I first saw the bud I thought it was a pea flower.  (You can find one of the pea plants to the lower right of the flower–look for the thin green stem.)

Nope.  It belonged to one of our potato plants.

Always something new to see around here, and always learning.
