First Gladiolus Stalk in Bloom

You can see others budding to the left. This is one of two rows I planted in our front beds.

The glads are from a purchase last year from a gift card. I had forgotten to put them in the cellar for winter storage, and planted them a bit late. Almost all 25 from the bag formed stalks.

These are not native, and our zone is a bit much for them. I’m honestly not sure if I want to do the extra work of digging them up, or just leaving them be and see what returns next year.
