If flowers can
teach themselves
how to bloom after
winter passes,
so can you.
~ Noor Shirazie, Springtime
Info snipped from her about section: “This blog is about getting inspired on gloomy days. It’s about opening your mind to a variety of perspectives, embracing creativity in its many outlets, and seeing that we are as different as we are alike.”
I really like what she presents here as I have always felt that gardening is a creative process, and even gardeners have gloomy days despite when we are surrounded by so much life and wonder. As with making other forms of art, we might not all be terribly good at it, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still try and enjoy doing what we’re drawn to do.
I thought for sure I lost all my crocuses over the winter.
Yesterday they bloomed!!!
Yay!
