Keeping focus
I had made non yard plans today because we were supposed to have rain. Yet it skipped us. Tomorrow, though, the forecast assures me, there will be rain! I have a backup yard plan if it doesn’t rain as much as they claim. Time will tell. Continue reading “Keeping focus”
It occurred to me today…
as I sit here, watching all sorts of insects hanging out on or flying by my office window that I really need to clean those windows.
That way, when I try to take close ups, my nice camera doesn’t decide to focus on the water spots instead of the intended creature.
Walk around, shuffling plans

Not a sunflower, sadly.
I checked on the possible sunflower after coming home from an errand today, and noticed the stem was getting a bit ruddy. I checked the other spots where I had planted sunflowers last year that also did not sprout, and found one other in the right side front porch bed. Continue reading “Not a sunflower, sadly.”
