At the same time, we’re trying to not repeat mistakes from last year which means more work being put into beds to make sure they are as hospitable as we can manage this year. Garden Growth–7th May, 2019
Good news was my partner got done very early today, not so good was we had a bit of a race against the rain. All too easy to get snippy then, but fortunately there was very little of that. Broke 70°F today.

We did manage to get some work done between rains. I’m keenly aware how much still needs doing within a month’s time. Again, higher temperatures than predicted, broke into the low 60s F.
