Today there is no rain scheduled until 9pm. We’ll see how that turns out. What I need to do is pick three possible things that take a while to possibly focus on, just in case when the sun comes up it looks like that forecast holds water. (Yes. Terrible pun. Rainy day, transplanted the pumpkin and corn seedlings
I hadn’t even given a thought as to whether some kitchen garden plants might suffer from being started indoors. Then I found a list that went into some examples of what is ok, what isn’t ideal, and what not to start indoors. As I scanned the list, then I started worrying about the corn in particular.

Indoor pot followup – 23rd July 2018
The two seedlings have grown a bit more, and we’re thinking to give them a few more days before we transplant them. It might be faulty thinking, but after the yard party yesterday, I’d rather give them a bit more time to grow indoors so they don’t become victims of the critters.
