Site Change: Featured Images on all Pages
Tonight I had a reminder from WordPress that I apparently didn’t tick off all the boxes in some checklist or another, and found myself personalizing my Contact page.
At that point, I thought, “Might as well give consistency to an extent for all the pages.” Continue reading “Site Change: Featured Images on all Pages”
Site Changes: About, The Grounds, Friends?
I realized too late one small flaw in my site change notification plan. Continue reading “Site Changes: About, The Grounds, Friends?”
I forgot to mention: “Location” again WAI
For anyone that found my last post about this relevant to their interests, two days or so ago I realized the “Location” option for posts is working as intended once again. I meant to mention it then, but forgot.
Coming soon! Site changes.
Like my garden, this website is developing over time. Some things that seemed like a good idea at the time don’t quite work out as intended. Other ideas don’t come to light until later. Mistakes get made, and I don’t want anyone to be led astray by what they read here, as the web is already chock full of disinformation and misleading information.

Note to future me #5
Better forewarned than to lose something due to being lazy about double checking data–or at least look for any updates on said data down the road.
Reminder to self for 7/23/2018
Might want to stake at least that one double budding black eyed susan.

Wait…I don’t live there.

Note to future me #4
Don’t forget to actually utilize the data you’ve collected. Look over it from time to time, especially if you are doing something similar to what you’ve recorded before. (Use that search function on this site too for when you didn’t record things in the plantings list that are relevant to whatever you need to know. It’s easy to forget it’s there some days.)
You’ll be less impatient if you remember maybe you haven’t waited long enough for results because our memory isn’t always as good as we want it to be.
